Third and last (for now) post from Guest Blogger Anne Sports, author of How Thin the Veil. Monday she concluded that God doesn’t see imperfect or perfect — He just sees His. We all belong to Him because He created us out of knowing and loving us. She continues:
Love was overcome by Love and created what they love. Just like human parents, really, only hyper. All God sees is “mine” because we are indeed made out of the happy union of divine Love. It’s in our genes.
Ha — now that I think about it, I could have saved space by just quoting from Harry Potter. I love that scene where baby Harry is in his crib, with Voldemort approaching, to kill Harry’s mum. She desperately reminds her baby, with her last breaths, “Harry, you are so loved. You are so loved.”
If I can amend her words a little, “Mother Mary loves you. Da-da loves you. Lord Jesus loves you. You are so loved.”
I suppose what anyone who fears “hyper-grace” can’t grasp is that the Holy Spirit whispers the very same words to us and to Voldemort. All He sees is “mine.”
Ah, true!
